Take This Seriously ... or not. Pomona College, in Claremont, California 35 miles east of Los Angeles, claims to be widely regarded as one of the premier liberal arts colleges in America. The college has about 1500 students and at least a few of them have discoverd tarot.
When I started doing tarot for my friends, I would put on an ironic "tarot card voice": monotone, soothing, and serene. Occasionally I would dim the lights and assure my friend that I was doing this "just for fun." Many of my friends were originally quite skeptical as well. Payoff Eight Years After Reading: "I had a tarot card reading about seven or eight years ago and the tarot reader told me one day I would win 'a substantial amount of money which will be shared'". Well ... 8, 17, 33, 41, 43 and 45 on the ticket certainly produced whta I'd call a "substantial" Lucky Dip winning for Janette, who had the reading, and her husband Stephen.
